About The Book

Mikey and the Magic Medicine tells the tale of a boy who comes down with a nasty case of the flu and although he feels awful and risks getting the rest of his family sick, Mikey is grossed out by his medicine and doesn’t want to take it. As the germs spread across his body and his family’s home, Mikey eventually does the right thing and becomes a hero as the magic medicine stomps out the evil germs and saves the day. This colorful, wonderfully-illustrated adventure can be a fun way to teach an important lesson to young children who may be hesitant to take their meds when needed, and is applicable to a wide age group.

As a parent of three I have been searching for a way to get my kids to take their medicine. Finally this book came along! Great book to read to your little ones, especially if they’re sick and hate taking medicine like most kids do. My son goes crazy for this story and there’s even coloring pages at the end for your little Da Vinci.”

Well, my daughter Chelsea kind of summed it up today! We got the book yesterday and we read it today before naptime. She loved it and pointed out the coloring at the end ( great idea as you dont see this very often). So, fast forward to bedtime and asked what book she wanted to read, she quickly responded with ‘Mikeys medicine, I love that book’. She is 3. A great childrens book to teach and hopefully get the little ones to understand the importance of taking medicine!”

Awesome book to get for young ones to show the importance and benefits of medicine when needed. The illustrations and rhymes are great to better capture kids attention and get the message across in a fun way. I was impressed that they also provided pages to color to engage children more.

We liked it so much, we bought more to donate to our child’s school to be available for other kids.”

This book is so aborable! My daughter really loves it and has asked me to read a couple times. I have already suggested to my other mom friends to order it. Definitely a great read, especially for kids who don’t like taking medicine!”

I thought this was a winner. The illustrations were wonderfully drawn and easy to follow. Despite the serious message of the story, it was a fun and even exciting read, just the right balance. A great book for parents and kids!”

I purchased this book after having repeated issues with providing medicine to my children. It’s never a ‘happy moment’, but this book made it pretty fun for my kids and they continue to refer to it when sick and in need of medicine. They say it’s ‘Magic Medicine’ time! Thank God for this book.”
